The Town reviewed and commented on the Draft logo that was submitted for review on August 6, 2018. Revisions were completed on delivered to Cottage city on November 13, 2018.
In-house publications and graphic design staff are designing a new logo and a marketing brochure for the Town of Cottage City. The objective is to update the Town’s image and boost economic development by touting proximity to the District of Columbia, the Anacostia River waterfront, and potential future development on the west side of Bladensburg Road. The new logo will replace the outdated current logo and identify unique assets within the Town. The goal is for the new logo to be used on the Town’s letterhead, municipal website, billboards, banners, and other media. Photos, illustrations and/or and maps will be used in the marketing brochure to communicate opportunities to reside and do business within the Town. Overall branding will symbolize the past, present, and future of Cottage City.
