Artist Resources The Arts Opportunities Newsletter is published monthly and includes articles featuring Prince George’s County Artists, information on arts related news within the metropolitan area, audition notices, artist calls, grant opportunities, arts-related jobs, advertising for artist services, and a calendar listing events and exhibitions of local art centers and organizations. Submissions for the Arts Opportunities Newsletter should be emailed to christel.stevens@pgparks.com by the 19th of the preceding month for listings in the following month. Year-Round ProgramsAuditions For 29th Annual Choreographers' Showcase At MarylandAudition Days: November 19 & 20, 10 am-6 pmApplication Deadline: November 14 Concert Date: Saturday, January 28, 2012, 3 pm and 8 pm, Dance Theatre, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, University of Maryland, College Park, MD Adjudicators: J.R. Glover, Director of Education, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Becket, MA & Professor Joseph Fontano, National Dance Academy, Rome, Italy The Choreographers' Showcase at Maryland is open to choreographers 18 years and older who reside in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Any modern work not exceeding 15 minutes in length created within the last two years is eligible. Six choreographers will be selected for performances in January.
