Rentals M-NCPPC maintains a partnership with the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Maryland, to ensure Prince George’s County residents and arts organizations can participate and have access to the Center’s resources. Located on the edge of the College Park campus at MD Route 193 and Stadium Drive, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Maryland houses the University’s Schools for Music, Dance, and Theater, the Performing Arts Library and six performance spaces. The Prince George’s Room at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts CenterM-NCPPC’s Arts & Cultural Heritage Division operates the Prince George’s Room (#2523) within the Center, where arts classes, workshops and summer performing arts camps are offered seasonally.The Prince George’s Room is also available for non-profit arts organizations to hold rehearsals, meetings, workshops, readings and recitals at no cost. Rent CreditThe M-NPPC provides financial assistance to Prince George’s County non-profit arts organizations for rental expenses incurred when holding performances at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at Maryland. Prince George’s County based organizations renting performance space through M-NCPPC are eligible for lower Campus Rental Rates for the spaces and are able to apply to M-NCPPC for rent credit to offset their expenses based upon the total estimated cost of the performance.
