Throughout the year, the Brentwood Arts Exchange offers classes and workshops of interest to all ages – from children’s programs to learning opportunities for teens, adults, and working artists.

Please take a look at our class and camp schedule by searching our SMARTlink system. You can access it by clicking on the icon to the right. As you navigate through SMARTlink and register for a class or activity, you must know your account PIN and Barcode number. Follow the directions in SMARTlink to retrieve this information.

Adobe Photoshop - Beginners

Using hands-on techniques, learn to use the namesake software of contemporary image editing. Create and build skills utilizing the computer as an art and photography tool. This is a two part introductory course. Taught by photographer Alison Duvall.

Intro to Metalworking/Jewelry: Adults & Teens

Make A Silver Ring

Saturday, April 20, 11 am-3 pm
Make a silver ring and learn the basics of jewelry making. Fundamental jewelry skills such as sawing, filling, soldering and polishing will be demonstrated and practiced. This class is designed as an introduction to jewelry making as a hobby.

Free Family Spring Workshop:
Easter Egg Dyeing

Saturday, March 23, 11am-2 pm
In celebration of the arrival of spring, the Brentwood Arts Exchange, invites families to join us for an Easter Egg Dyeing Workshop. Enjoy dyeing eggs with family and friends. Use your imagination and create your own designs. Your first two eggs are free. Additional eggs are $1 for a set of 2.

Creative Expressions Spring Art Camps 2013

Discover a world where your child can create fun art projects that expand their imagination, express their creativity and sharpen their learning skills. Each camp will pursue a variety of artistic media integrated with such themes as fantasy, animals, nature and adventure. New projects are offered daily, so come for one day or the whole week! Children are encouraged to bring a snack, lunch and smock. Ages 6-12. Before and after care available.

Metal Working for Kids

Saturday, June 1, 11:00 am-3:00pm
In this fun workshop your child will make a beautiful copper chain bracelet and cast a pewter medallion while learning the techniques of small metalworking. Children will be introduced to torch work and cold manipulation. Basic metal working processes such as forging, melting, bending, annealing and metal coloration will be explored. Projects include rings, bracelets, and usable bowls. Talk to teacher about parent participation.
