Classes, Camps & Workshops
Throughout the year, the Brentwood Arts Exchange offers classes and workshops of interest to all ages – from children’s programs to learning opportunities for teens, adults, and working artists.
Please take a look at our class and camp schedule by searching our SMARTlink system. You can access it by clicking on the icon to the right. As you navigate through SMARTlink and register for a class or activity, you must know your account PIN and Barcode number. Follow the directions in SMARTlink to retrieve this information.
Photoshop
Learn hands-on using the namesake software of contemporary image editing. Create and build skills utilizing the computer as an art and photography tool. Taught by photographer Alison Duvall.

Summer Art Camps
Discover a world where your child can create fun art projects that expand their imagination, express their creativity and sharpen their learning skills. Each camp will pursue a variety of artistic media integrated with such themes as fantasy, animals, nature and adventure. New projects are offered each session, so come for one week of the whole summer! A visit to a swimming pool and a punch and cookies reception and exhibition round out each exciting session. Three two-week sessions from June 25 – August 3; Ages 6 -12; $235 Resident/ $285 Non-Resident; Before and After Care available.

The Business of Art - A Workshop Series for Visual Artists
The Brentwood Arts Exchange and the Gateway Community Development Corporation, with the support of the Prince George's Arts and Humanities Council, present The Business of Art – a series of workshops providing skills and answers for artists seeking to earn more from their work. Topics include tips on marketing, copyright issues, pricing, and improving your portfolio presentations. Free to the public; advance registration required.
The Inside and Out of Creating a Great Art Portfolio, A Panel Presentation
