Visit Us The Brentwood Arts Exchange is located on the first floor of the Gateway Arts Center at: 3901 Rhode Island Ave.

Follow US 1 South for approximately 5½ miles. Make a U-turn at 38th Street, to head north on US 1/Rhode Island Avenue. The Center will be on the right at the corner of 39th Street and Rhode Island Avenue.From the District of Columbia, the Brentwood Arts Exchange is slightly more than ½ mile north of the District line (at Eastern Avenue), on Rhode Island Avenue. From the south, take I-395 North towards Washington, DC. Turn right onto New York Avenue, NW/US-50 East. Make a slight left toward US-1 North/Bladensburg. Turn Left onto Bladensburg Rd. NE. After crossing into Maryland, turn left onto 38th Avenue/MD-208. Turn right at Rhode Island Avenue/US-1 North. 3901 Rhode Island Avenue is on the right. ParkingParking at the Brentwood Arts Exchange is limited. If parking is not available in the parking lot, guests may park on the streets to the sides and back of the center.HoursMonday through Friday: 10 am – 7pmSaturday: 10 am – 4pm Sunday: Closed AdmissionsThe Gallery and Fine Craft Showcase are open to the public free of charge during all operating hours except during special reserved events. Some events, such as live performances, may require tickets for admission. In those cases, amendments to open public hours will be posted in advance.Visitor GuidelinesThe Brentwood Arts Exchange asks that all visitors maintain respect for the artwork, staff, building occupants, and other guests. In general, guests should behave as they would when visiting an art museum or gallery: Do not touch any artwork or craft object unless you are explicitly instructed that it is OK to do so.
