Get Involved The Publick Playhouse strives to provide quality arts programming to the community.  Volunteers are an important part of our team!

Friends of the Publick Playhouse

The Department of Parks and Recreation is reliant upon the voluntary assistance of community volunteer associations which assist with sponsoring programs and activities throughout the county.  These volunteer organizations provide vital support and assistance with leisure service programs.

Usher/Front of House

Ushers help the public in seat direction, placement, and provide excellent customer service.  Assist staff with smooth flow of operation during performances.  Volunteers will need to dress in all black or black and white clothing suitable for a theater.  Comfortable shoes must be worn for standing.  Volunteers must check in one hour prior to scheduled show time.  Training will be offered on an ongoing basis.
