This evening is certainly going to get your toes tapping, showcasing the world-renowned tap dancer Baakari Wilder, performing original tunes with some of the finest musicians in the DMV area. Wilder has been performing since the age of 12 at the Kennedy Center and, at 16, became a member of Savion Glover’s tap group. He is known for starring in the Broadway musical Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk and has been performing around the world. His performance at Montpelier Arts Center will be an exciting display of percussive tap dancing as his group plays jazz and blues music.
