Serving as one of the County’s most expansive and versatile park settings, Walker Mill Regional Park provides residents and visitors with a welcoming environment for play, fitness, relaxation, and outdoor exploration.
The park is thoughtfully divided into two distinct areas. The South Side (247 acres) is fully developed. It features a wide array of modern recreational amenities and supporting infrastructure, making it a hub for organized sports, family activities, and community events. In contrast, the North Side (257 acres) preserves a largely wooded and historic landscape, offering a more natural park experience while setting the stage for future cultural, educational, and ecological enhancements that will further expand the park’s role as a regional asset.
